Residential Service Company Bond

Residential service companies in Texas must execute a Texas Residential Service Company Bond to ensure compliance with Section 6 (c) of the Residential Service Company Act, Article 6573b. These bonds are intended to protect against possible losses in a case a company fails to perform or is unable to deliver services as stipulated in contract provisions. Failure to observe contract provisions can result in claims against the amount of the bond. Amounts and costs are subject to underwriting and depend in part on the applicant’s credit worthiness.
